2 Questions...
1) Is it manual?
2) Define Moderate...

Could just be an image quirk, but it looks like something is off with that rocker panel.

I second that the rocker panel looks FUBAR’d and the panel gap at the front edge of the door looks odd.
The Regal GS is a great choice, though!

They are $17k at carmax. I would only go $12k if it was repaired properly. It looks like a hack job to me.

Nope its the auto. And dealer said fender bender. That told me nothing.

Yea something tells me the damage was situated in that area. I love the GS though.

Be that the case I am going to go CP. The manual would really be the only reason to go for it. Autos with no accidents and similar mileage can be had for a little bit more, example

Needs an inspection, preferably wheel-off to see the damage.

Depends on where you live though. Car prices are affected heavily by market as well as their availability. The example you provided is in Indiana. Here in Southern California where I am, within 100 miles of me there are a grand total of 3 GS’s for sale: the one I put here, with an accident, one that’s a 2014 which is new and doesn’t have a price listing yet though I think its going to be above 17 grand, and one thats 17,499 but the dealer that its at is shady and notorious for adding on 1 and 2 grand for “paperwork processing fees”. GS’s are getting cheap, but its a slow process.

Carfax doesnt show they did. But yea I would avoid it. Too many unknowns and I dont like how the dealer wasnt too clear about the extent of the damage. We all know that Carfax doesnt tell the whole story.

Indeed, there are many other examples across the nation at similar. I agree location and mobility is a huge factor. However, in this day in age where we can shop online and compare prices across the nation giving much better ideas of general market values.
All the GS’s I could find were in the mid-20s, but I found one in Chicago for 19,700. Thanfully I have family in the area and could crash with them for a weekend while I looked at the car and it subsequently followed me home.
Internet shopping has really opened up the car market, and made it really competitive for dealers. Sometimes it is cheaper to buy a car far away and have it shipped than buying locally, but you have to take account for all factors (money, time, effort, etc.)

You’re right. I actually love internet shopping for cars. It lets you make dealers compete for your business. And even Ive considered going far for a car and driving it back home, especially for rare models like a Phaeton or that rare color/option combo that’s nowhere near you. Next car I get I’m going to consider doing that.

It’s either loose or broken - could have been high centered, or worse.
